2. When reaming, trial assembly with taper pin should be carried out in time
The purpose is to facilitate the ball screw to control the reaming diameter. The hole diameter is qualified when the taper pin can be manually inserted into about 80% - 85% of the pin length; After cleaning the iron filings, the taper pin should be coated with engine oil and then driven into the surface of the workpiece with a copper bar to ensure sufficient friction torque and prevent loosening under load in use
3. Do a good job of dust prevention treatment on the surface of ball screw
In the process of drilling, reaming and tapping, the dust-proof treatment of the lead screw surface should be done well. Wrap the exposed part of the lead screw with clean cloth to prevent dust from entering the transmission surface of the lead screw pair, so as to prolong the service life of precision components and improve the assembly accuracy.
